At Coastwise Health, we believe recovery is stronger when families heal together. That’s why we created the Family Care Program—a professionally led series designed to support loved ones through education, connection, and meaningful guidance.

Led by Dr. Dan Gibson – 

The program is led by Dr. Dan Gibson, whose lifelong passion for recovery and spirituality guides each session. Dan holds a D.Min. from Claremont School of Theology and an M.Div. from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley. He received formal substance abuse training through CCAPP and is a certified CADC I. Dan has served at the renowned Thelma McMillen Recovery Center, where he specialized in family programming. A Southern California native with deep roots in the San Pedro community, Dan brings heart, wisdom, and decades of experience to families navigating the recovery journey.
