Our Team
Psychotherapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Sara helps teens, adults, and older adults work through anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions, creating a warm, judgment-free space where clients can build clarity, strength, and a deeper sense of self-acceptance.
Sara's approach is warm, accepting, and grounded in the belief that meaningful therapy begins by meeting people where they are rather than judging where they think they should be.
She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), art therapy, and attachment theory.
A first session with Sara typically focuses on getting to know one another and understanding what is bringing the client to therapy, with an emphasis on creating safety and comfort from the beginning.
She is especially passionate about helping clients identify what they want to change and how they want to grow, building greater strength and clarity, connecting more deeply with others, and developing greater understanding and acceptance of themselves.
Sara has been practicing since earning her Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2013, with a concentration in Children and Families. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Whittier College.
During her graduate training, she facilitated substance abuse group therapy, worked with dual-diagnosis individuals in a group-home setting, and completed internship hours at a women's victims-of-crime outpatient treatment center and a community clinic, experiences that contributed to her range and versatility as a clinician.
My greatest strengths are meeting the person where they are in life. I don't judge people's choices and decisions, and I firmly believe we all have something wonderful to offer.Sara Feld, LCSW
